By accessing or using the GroomVerify platform at groomverify.com (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. GroomVerify is operated by GreatMinds Fintech Private Limited (“Company”, “we”, “us”).
2. Description of Service
GroomVerify provides groom background verification services for Indian families, including identity verification, address verification, credit score and loan checks, court case checks, AML screening, and business verification. All verifications are conducted with proper consent and in compliance with applicable Indian laws.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age and a resident of India to use our Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
4. User Accounts
When you create an account, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- Ensuring all information provided is truthful and up-to-date
5. Consent and Authorization
By submitting a verification request, you confirm that you have obtained the necessary consent from the individual being verified. GroomVerify operates strictly on a consent-based model, and any misuse to conduct unauthorized checks is prohibited.
6. Payment and Fees
Fees for verification services are displayed before you confirm a request. All payments are processed securely. Prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to modify pricing with prior notice.
7. Accuracy of Reports
GroomVerify endeavours to provide accurate and up-to-date reports based on information from public records, government databases, and authorized sources. However, we do not guarantee absolute accuracy. Reports should be used as one factor in your decision-making process.
8. Prohibited Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws
- Submit false or misleading information
- Conduct verifications without proper consent
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the platform
- Resell or redistribute reports without written authorization
9. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, designs, and technology on the GroomVerify platform are the intellectual property of GreatMinds Fintech Private Limited. You may not copy, modify, or distribute without our express written consent.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GroomVerify and GreatMinds Fintech Private Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use of our Service, including decisions made based on verification reports.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent or harmful activity. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
12. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
